After a long wait, Berkey (New Millennium Concepts, Ltd.) has now released a filter to come alongside the original Black Berkey filters. The new Phoenix filters have the following features:
- Tested to address 200+ typical contaminants in US / global municipal water supplies
- NSF/ANSI 42 and NSF/ANSI/CAN 372 certified
- Up to 5,500 gallons per pair before replacement is recommended
- PrimeEasy Primer Included
- Fits all Berkey water filter systems
- Optionally can utilize the PF-2 fluoride/arsenic filters
So, if you need replacement filters, you now have a choice between the Black Berkey and the new Phoenix Gravity filters. We still have both in stock!
